Dogs rescued from the 50 #DogMeat #Farm
SEPTEMBER 2015
LOCATION: Gwangju City
"We returned to the dog farm to get the remaining twenty dogs, and released them all. Two of the dogs, a pointer mix and a black mastiff, found homes in the village. We moved eighteen of them. The first round, we rescued the Miracle family – mom and her four pups. The second round there were only twenty dogs because five were sold after our first visit. All together, 43 dogs are safe in our hands. I was so afraid he would sell more dogs after we had left. One by one, each dog will be vet-checked and vaccinated. We will update daily on this"

70 dogs rescued from the #DogMeat farm in #Ansan
NOVEMBER 2015
LOCATION: ANSAN
The dogs have been saved from two dog farms breeding dogs for consumption located in Ansan near Choji Station. There were forty dogs in one farm and thirty dogs in the another farm eating rotten garbage, mice and cats.
These places were covered by metal sheets. There wasn't sun coming through the cages and the dogs were all soaking wet sitting in their own urine and excrement. They were shivering from fear in tiny cages where they couldn't even stretch. There were mice eating the rotten garbage left for the dogs.
Dogs rescued from the "Dog Barbeque House" #GOYANG
NOVEMBER 2015
LOCATION: GOYANG
"The restaurant is located in the north, about a two hour drive from Seoul, in beautiful surroundings, with mountains. We have no idea how many dogs were slaughtered last summer, but the empty wire barred cages gave us some clues. We can negotiate with the owner/butcher further and rescue these dogs when the funds are in our hands, which can empower us to take action. We will need a truck to relocate the dogs, and already have boarding and two vets arranged, for all the seventeen dogs"

It's been one and a half year that I've been fighting bringing the dog farmer to the court again and again. The Yangsan city officials got so fed up with me calling me a "dog farmer killer” This dog farm used to breed over 200 dogs, a major supplier to the Gupo dog meat market in Busan. It's completely shut down now. I am so thrilled as l have been looking forward to seeing this for too long, happiest day this year announcing this victory"

300 dogs rescued from the #DogMeat farm in #Bucheon
May 2016
LOCATION: BUCHEON
A large dog farm where 300 dogs were being bred for meat.

"The wire cages never seem to end. Behind the two wire cage buildings we observe another long stretch of wire cages with more dogs, roughly totaling 300 dogs in all, including newly born pups.
There is a slaughterhouse within the walls of the facility (too graphic to show) with no sewage which is illegal. I can charge them for violating the environmental law with a minimum of four code violations."
